This is a 1983 Dodge Challenger, aka a Mitsubishi Galant Lambda. Born from the weird Chrysler Dodge Mitsubishi Eagle partnership that was Diamond-star motors, the Challant suffered from typical build quality of the time, and as such you virtually never see them anymore. The fact that most Mopar enthusiasts and JDM fans are both eager to disown this oddity doesn’t help. I can’t recall having ever seen one before, and was certainly more excited than I should’ve been to see this battered example, fitted with a stick shift no less.

I’ve always wanted one, but they are somewhat rare.

One of these with a 4G63 would be ridiculously fun.

I suddenly want one to drop an SRT-4 motor into.

Sapporo. The Turbos were pretty nice though, with IRS and shit.

The Turbos actually had a SOHC 4G63T just like the Starion.

Whoa... I have no memory of these from back in the day.

Thanks a lot... Now I want one. Also, if these came factory with anything other than turbine wheels, DSM was wrong.

We had this car in the U.K. as the Mitsubishi Colt Sapporo. My dad’s was a 2.0GSX in metallic brown with a brown dashboard and beige corduroy interior.
I loved that car. The only thing I didn’t like was when wearing shorts and T-shirt, the corduroy pattern would leave lines down your bare skin.

So many cool cars out there. So little time. And money.

Yeah, I think that was the Plymouth version.

If it did it was single cam and tbi though. Not the later twin cam with mpi.
The first performance car with the engine with multi port injection of note was the Galant VR4. I believe the Magna has it before but that is an irrelevant car lol.

Hi I’m the owner of this car. Can you please delete the picture as it show my license plate? I do not want people seeing and research my address. FYI my car have been robbed 2 time since. Thanks for your comprehension.

Then you’d better remove your license plates while driving because you’re showing them to the entire area.
